Wait…Omaha has small batch printing services?

When I meet new people and they ask about Bold Press, they often ask, “Why small batch printing services?” Sometimes it’s immediately followed up by, “Can you do 400 koozies?” 🙄 But I digress… When we were presented with the opportunity of purchasing equipment from an existing Omaha print shop, we saw an opportunity to serve the Omaha market. We knew small businesses wanted short runs of custom items that weren’t ”chintzy” but also didn’t require obscene minimums.

Not every business needs 500 tumblers.

Unfortunately, small businesses are often at a disadvantage when it comes to ordering items in small quantities because a) it’s often not possible to get quantities under 250, and b) they just don’t need—and can’t afford—high quantities of certain items. *That* is why we got into Omaha small batch printing services. Perhaps your business wants just 10 shirts for the team. Or you want just one 20 oz. engraved tumbler. 100 stickers? No problem. We have done research and testing on the products we offer that are cost-effective, quality, and affordable.

Ordering locally is convenient.

Sometimes it’s just really nice to support other small businesses who, in turn, support you. When you order from Bold Press, there is someone locally who produces your order. You get a handwritten thank you for your order…every time. You don’t have to worry about expensive shipping costs because you can pick up your order in town. And if you have a question or would like to see a product before ordering, there’s a brick and mortar you can visit.

Your ideas matter.

We encounter some really awesome ideas! Whether you have an idea for a gift or want some custom engraved coasters for your bourbon, you have someone local and on your side to help those ideas come to reality. It’s important that when you’re working on custom print products, you have someone who can create your idea or is honest enough to explain why it can’t happen with us.

What do we say, “No” to?

Sometimes, we just can’t do something. You know…like those 400 koozies I mentioned earlier. 🤣  What is the most common order we say no to? Rush orders. To keep costs at a minimum, we don’t keep a massive inventory. And you most likely will have to pay rush fees for us to 1) get the product in, and 2) to produce the product. Because we offer small batch means we don’t have a fleet of employees who do the work.

Why we aren’t afraid to say no…

We’d rather say, “No” to an order if we know the final product won’t be what the client expects. And if we aren’t proud of it, we know you won’t be, either. Those stickers and signs? Yeah, we can usually do a quicker turnaround on them. Custom apparel, engraving…those take time. And we want you to be excited to show off your new small batch printing items!
